Their First Halloween

[Halloween 2009] "It’s been a year since the humans of this village last called us ‘Monsters,’ and my little ones are getting quite ‘Mondo’ in their own rights now. They’ve invited us to partake in their human rituals, tonight seems to be a night of disguises and gorging… I’ll have to practice moderation with the kids. This human in front of me has coloured his skin, he looks like a corpse. But I can smell life in him, he’s not dead. Why is he resting here… unassuming… eyes closed and not asleep? Does he intend to scare my children? I can’t comprehend these rituals yet." Drawn to be more flouncy than my usual dreck, less horror and less distinct, more childlike and in the spirit of Halloween fun.

It takes real grit to crawl to the top of the Scarabian underworld. To control the black market and to scream across the sands in search of quarry ripe for plunder. He's a master criminal. Lightning fast and untouchable. Yet fastidious, exacting, and meticulous. Of course, such desperadoes demand a high ransom. Not monetary, but in the position that comes in offing number one. Being on top means always keeping watch over your shoulder.

Elobo Quicksilver over Chrome
An organic machine hard-coded into spacetime. Covered in blades, cutting edges and razorwire, time is its to command. Incomprehensible speed and precision, and access to its Tree of Pain - a vicious implement to broadcast pain in an effort to ferret out a furtive deity. (Crossover between StarMan DX and The Shrike from Hyperion Cantos).

[ebff2011] Seriously almost everybody else has these walloping bulbous noggins. Only a few guys like Monotoli's security dudes come close to the StarMaster's head. Why is his so small? This has kept me awake at night since I first played the game. Is the true secret of nothingness that your skull collapses in upon itself to fill the void? Or is the StarMaster actually the only normal sized head, and everyone else was just stung by multiple bees? His head seems the most proportionate, after all! I think this is an important topic.
